Rehearsal plan

Time and location

• Setup and clearing: 6:00–6:30 pm.
• Rehearsal: 6:30–8:30 pm.
• Location: the venue / church.

• Chloe's mum
• Worship team

Possible attendees

• Lily and Sam — for the signing-of-the-register song, if they can attend.
• Pastor Ted — may attend the rehearsal.
• Pastor Ollie — may attend the rehearsal.

Venue setup and rehearsal tasks

• A few attendees will go to the venue to set up.
• Clear the chairs.
• Move the sideboards in the foyer.
• Arrange flowers; the aisle flowers are TBC.
• Complete a soundcheck and connect the worship team's equipment.
• Fill the water jugs. Jacinta will get the jugs.
• A lace tablecloth may be needed for the signing-of-the-register table.

Rehearsal flow

• Have a time of prayer.
• Run through the order of service:
  1. Bridal entry
  2. Where to sit
  3. Worship
  4. Readings
  5. Sermon — Pastor Ted
  6. Ceremony — Pastor Ollie
  7. Signing of the register
  8. Couple exit
  9. Post-ceremony hangs

Guest seating and materials

• Place orders of service on the seats.
• Mark reserved sections, potentially with names.
• Decide whether chocolate will be handed out to guests.

Housekeeping

• Pastor Ollie will give the housekeeping rules.

Music and readings

Worship team

• The church will provide one sound technician.

Bible reading

• Carina and Nidhi will do the Bible reading.

Foyer and entrance reset

• Take before-and-after photos of the foyer so it can be restored exactly as found after the ceremony.
• Clear the two small entrance areas of small items, including baskets:
  • Main entrance from the street
  • Back entrance from the foyer
• Take photos before moving anything so each item can be returned to its rightful location.

Parking

• Put bollards out during the rehearsal to reserve a couple of parking spaces for the bridal car and the bridesmaids' car.
• Do not park in the disabled parking area.
